Since 2023, Canary Technology Solutions has proudly partnered with the Australian Veterans’ Children Assistance Trust (AVCAT), supporting its work to create greater access to education for the children and grandchildren of Australian veterans. 

Today, Canary sponsors three AVCAT scholars undertaking tertiary education across Australia. 

Creating opportunity through education 

AVCAT provides scholarships to students undertaking university, TAFE and other recognised tertiary studies, helping with the costs associated with education and allowing scholars to focus on their studies and future careers. 

For Canary, supporting AVCAT is an opportunity to recognise the service and sacrifices made by Australian veterans and their families, while investing in the next generation. 

We believe education can create opportunities that extend well beyond an individual qualification – supporting future professionals, leaders and contributors to communities across Australia.

We were proud to recently join AVCAT in celebrating its 2026 scholars and recognising their achievements. 

It was particularly special to see Canary-sponsored scholar Rory Husband receive his 2026 Certificate of Award.
